  1. What Is Gautam Group?

    Gautam Group is a group of professional and technical educational institutions. These include colleges for nursing, teacher training, paramedics, pharmacy, and industrial training. It comprises registered public charitable trusts - Right Path Foundation and Shantidoot.

  2. Campuses

    According to the trust: Gautam Group

    • Nalanda / Biharsharif Campus (Bhaganbigha, Nalanda, Bihar)
    • Hilsa Campus (Nalanda, Bihar)
    • Hazaribag Campus (Barhi, Hazaribag, Jharkhand)
    • Patna Campus (Lodipur, Khusrupur, Patna) — in development; includes plans for a university (Dr. Avijeet Gautam University) and a medical college.
  3. Key Institutes Under Gautam Group
    • Gautam Institute of Nursing & Paramedics (GINP): Offers ANM, GNM, B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing; PG, UG and Diploma courses in Paramedical Science, and B. Pharm and D. Pharm courses in Pharmacy.
    • Gautam Teacher Training College (GTTC): Offers M.Ed, B.Ed, and D.El.Ed courses.
    • Gautam Institute of Pharmacy: Offers B. Pharm and D. Pharm courses in Pharmacy.
    • All Institutes are spread over all the campuses of the Group.
  4. Management and Leadership
    • Dr. Avijeet Kumar is the ‘Founder Member’ and the Trustee Chairman of the Right Path Foundation and Gautam Group.
    • The governance of institutes include representatives from government, educationists, faculty, and trust members.
    • For example, GINP’s Management Committee includes representatives from the Govt. of Bihar, Vice chancellor’s representative, District Administration’s representative, District Health Department’s representative, etc.
  5. Mission & Objectives
    • Provide quality education and training in professional and technical fields, especially for youth from less-developed regions.
    • Enhance job and income opportunities for students by equipping them with market-relevant skills.
    • Address demand for skilled manpower in nursing, paramedics, pharmacy, and related fields.
    • Encourage social development through education — their trust work is not only academic but also leans into social responsibility.
  6. Social Initiatives / CSR
    • Gautam Group also runs Shantidoot, which appears to be a CSR / social welfare initiative.
    • They also have “Jan Shikshan Sansthan” for vocational training of non-literates or school drop-outs.
    • Their health-service venture includes a Shantidoot Hospital.
